James Shackelford is the CEO at Lifelong: Health for All, where he leads an outstanding team working to remove barriers to health and oversees programs that improve access to quality care, stable housing and nutritious food.
Prior to Lifelong, James founded and led a global communications and brand consulting firm, driving impact, engagement and growth for some of the world’s most respected brands, including UNICEF, AARP, Be The Match, Walmart, and Westinghouse. He also held global senior leadership roles at amfAR and Aon. James has served as board director of numerous non-profit organizations, advancing work across public health, economic development, theater and the arts, and animal rescue.
Shackelford currently serves on the board of directors of the Haitian Global Health Alliance and the Town Hall Theater, a landmark theater venue in New York’s Times Square founded by suffragists in 1921.
