Erika works with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate strategies that promote person-centered nutrition care for diverse populations. She builds culture around data-driven decision-making and strives to optimize data ecosystems to inform internal quality improvement, innovation in intervention design, program sustainability and contribution to the evidence base. She is interested in leveraging data from day-to-day interactions and deep engagement with the people we serve and in understanding how pathways in FIM interventions intersect with other social supports and local agriculture to drive sustained improvements in community health outcomes. Erika is currently the site principal investigator for four studies funded by the USDA (GusNIP PPR and NI), Administration for Community Living and the American Heart Association Health Care by Food Initiative. She is excited to learn from others and contribute her experience to advance our collective mission.
